Many happy returns of the day, NomiAnn! Since the girls' birthday card won't make it to you in time via snail mail, hopefully this picture will make you smile.
I happen to know Cathy Ann (aka known as NomiAnn) rather well and am confident this e-card brings ongoing smiles to her face. In which "French School of Art" are our grand daughters being schooled? The colors are vibrant, but at least at this point the subtle impressionist strokes elude me. Maybe the signature should be a bit less prominent as well. Keep smiling!
I don't know NomiAnn, but I also have to make a comment on the artwork. I like how the stick people are not wearing American-style triangle dresses, but what I can only assume are instead the more chic, French, 2-triangle dresses. Is this correct? I didn't ever consider that stick figure drawings could be cultural!
I am trying once again to leave a comment (it has never worked before). Thank you for the beautiful card. We had a great dinner at MeltingPot. You all would have loved it.
