Omaha Christmas Eve

So if Christmas pre-and post-gaming was held in Millcreek, where did celebrate Christmas?  In Omaha!  Papa Kay had been working since October to get everything beautifully decorated.  The Dickens Village never looked more charming.

Waking up to overnight baked french toast brings smiles to everyone, especially cute teenage boys.

Fighting words from Callie's tee.  But probably true.

Christmas Eve fell on a Sunday, so we snagged some photos in our Sunday clothes.

Adam's suit coat is one-of-a-kind.

Proper and silly.

Christmas Eve is also Adam's birthday, so we made him a caterpillar cake, a la Great British Bake Off.  Kudos to Callie who made the sponge twice so that it would roll without cracking.

Paul Hollywood's cake is fine...

...but ours had a decorated derriere.  Happy 40th Birthday, Adam!

Family Face Off Games.

Callie and Talia having their own Face Off for the goofiest grins.

Thanks to the Wells family for the delectable charcuterie.

47 years of marriage and adorable as ever.

Nachos for dinner!  So tasty.

Birthdays, Hannukah, Christmas...we love having all the reasons to celebrate.

Storytime with Papa Kay is worth driving 1000 miles for.

Our little drummer boy is calling everyone to gather...

...for Nativity time.  Joseph is ready to go.

Mary and an angel in a very snug dress.

I love this angel more than anything.

NomiAnn sharing the glad tidings.

Wow Mary, that is one big baby!

Enthusiastic wise women.

Best of all, a peaceful Silent Night remembering the birth of our Savior.
