Great news! The Anonymous Papa Kay is home from the hospital. He's adapting to life with supplemental oxygen, but so glad to be out of hospital jail and moving around the house and garden.
Skipping back to the beginning of 2024, Brooklyn received her endowment at the Provo City Center Temple on January 3rd. It was still dark and quiet when we arrived early for this special ceremony where members of the Church of Jesus Christ make sacred covenants with God. The Provo City Center Temple is one of my very favorites with all of its rich wood and attention to historical detail.
While we don't take cameras or phones through the temple out of reverence for the happenings within, I will never forget entering the Celestial Room to find Brooklyn surrounded by family who loves her. It was such a beautiful moment! NomiAnn, Papa Kay, Grandma Susie, Grandpa Charles, Justin, Brianna, Christy, Ben Spackman, Ben Schreiter, and Ben Keddington were all there.
We love you, Brooklyn! Thanks to everyone for supporting our gal. I hope Spain loves her as much as we do!

Wow! The Provo City Center Temple is particularly beautiful, and never more so than on the frosty morning when equally beautiful and radiant Brooklyn received her endowment. It was so good to be with her and other family members. Covenants are eternal, and matter eternally.
I recall when this temple site, and original framework, housed the Provo City Tabernacle. After the tabernacle was nearly destroyed by a fire, I'm so glad it was rescued and renewed to a new life, and higher commission, as a House of the Lord.
