Day 4 on the lake felt blissfully familiar. I'll let the pictures tell most of the story.
Most people come to the Village when it is bustling at night. Personally, I enjoy it most when it's empty in the early morning.
The early worm catches the fish. Thanks for the bait, Papa Kay!
Hope everyone's hungry for breakfast. (With apologies to those who don't love eggs...)
Did you notice the graduation balloons in the last picture? It was so thoughtful of the Wells family to decorate in honor of Brooklyn's graduation. They even gave her the most beautiful locket with a family picture inside. Keeping us close to her heart.
Upside down joy with Alesia.
Play time!
I'm pretty impressed that Jason managed to water ski with a torn ACL. I guess when you know that it's being replaced, you don't have to worry as much since it will get fixed later.
Eli's up next.
Adam takes Callie for a spin. Putting on the skis is the hardest part!
NomiAnn even went out with Callie. It was an act of faith to wear regular clothes on these tipsy boards, but her balance was great and she stayed dry!
Back on land, Adam entertained NomiAnn with his shadow puppetry skills.
Others snoozed.
Meanwhile, the bravest of the group went cliff jumping. It takes a bit of open water swimming to get there from the boat, so I'd only recommend it for those comfortable in the water.
Down goes Talia!
Eli takes the plunge.
Brooklyn opts for the classic cannonball.
And Jason, well, it looks like he's contemplating his life choices. Katelyn, Greg & Alesia, thanks for sharing this amazing spot!
Afterward, the group grabbed ice cream from the camp store located in The Narrows. In Utah, "The Narrows" refers to a hike through the Virgin River in Zion National Park. On Lake George, "The Narrows" refers to this chain of tiny islands where you can camp. I'm in love with both! Also, I love all these towheads.
So adorable.
Jason's living his best life.
I call this series "Selfies with Katelyn." Not only does she have the best smile, but as a biomedical engineer, Eli wants to follow in her footsteps when he grows up.
This next series is entitled "Driving the Boat." Everyone better hold on!
Finishing off another beautiful day with a lovely sunset and outdoor movie. Many thanks to my Mom for bringing the projector and screen. We thoroughly enjoyed watching Shang Chi from the lawn, all except Talia who watched from the lake while hanging out on a paddleboard.
