Newly Pink

Tally Wally Doodle.  This girl loves change  Every year it's fun to see her latch onto a novel skill, whether headstands, ukulele, journaling, or crochet.  While the novelty of crochet has worn off a bit for Talia, she still made some real profit selling her wares at the Avenues Street Fair in September.  Originally she wasn't planning on participating since she was running the Big Cottonwood Half Marathon that morning.  When her friend Audrey wanted to split a booth, it was the perfect way to manage both.

I was sad to see this little fox go.  I hope foxy loves her new home!

Talia's latest change?  Pink hair.  Right after Homecoming Talia decided that she hair needed a major makeover.

She matches Annika's Hogwarts jammies.

Pink hair makes it much easier to tell the Wheeler girls apart during frisbee games.

Anders came to cheer them on!  Too bad the lightning postponed their play.  Not to worry--a true Washingtonian, he was prepared.

Thirty minutes later and skies were clear.  Time to toss a disc.

Run, Talia, run!

Not quite sure how these pictures connect, but everybody loves dog photos, right?  Brooklyn has done a LOT of dog sitting for her cello teacher these past couple months.  It takes an intrepid soul to bond with five beautiful huskies.

As for Annika, she preferred bonding with the Goldendoodle at Eli's frisbee practice.

I may have forgotten to take a picture of the UP Team practicing, but a photo of Eli arm wrestling Sam Payne is just as fun.

Back to our pink-haired Talia, here we are hiking the foothills on a Sunday afternoon.

Just like as the sun sets, Talia's hair eventually faded.  A temporary wash, she made it last as long as possible by using dry shampoo.  After a while though, she had to succumb to the inevitable and enjoy the transformation from fuscia to cotton candy back to blonde.

I can't wait to discover Talia's next "new" thing.  Seeing as to how she'll be 16 on Tuesday, I think she's hoping it will be a phone, or better yet, a driver's license.  As long as it's not a boy...  Keep smiling!

Talia is beautiful in pink hair, although I personally prefer her natural blonde hue. It's OK Talia ... no harm done and it may be fun to try to hair colors. The enduring Talia I admire most is the generous, kind, hard-working, talented, friendly girl who is full of genuine faith and goodness.
