Meanwhile...Jason was left home alone.
I feel a bit guilty when I'm off playing with the kids and Jason is left behind to work, bishop, and generally adult. From his photo roll I can tell that he spent part of his time presiding at a funeral.
A funny story--this wonderful family was gathered for the graveside service of their matriarch when they realized that they had accidentally left Grandma behind. Everyone had a good chuckle while someone ran back for the urn. There you have it Papa Kay. She really was late for her own funeral.
However, it wasn't all cemeteries and ashes. Jason's dream came true when he got to attend a Garth Brooks concert with our friend and neighbor, Mark.
For Jason, this is pretty much the best day ever. We were just sad Aubri (Mark's wife) couldn't make it too.
Last but not least, Jason spent a Saturday riding the fifty mile loop around Bear Lake with Christy, Ben, and his mom.
Susie was smart and only biked the prettiest sections while Charles enjoyed his role as sag wagon.
All in all, it seems like Jason didn't suffer too much while home alone. Bear Lake looks pretty nice! Now on to Lake George.
