Believe it or not, We're Back.

Yes, we're alive!  My apologies, especially to Tanja, for leaving everyone hanging for weeks and weeks on end.  After traveling over 3000 miles, we finally made it to New York and back.  Oh, what a summer it has been!

You know, when Jason left for NY in March, I remember feeling kind of sorry for the kids.  I was concerned that they would miss out on a lot of experiences since I couldn't take them everywhere all on my own.

Well, I needn't have worried.  We haven't been everywhere, but it just about feels like it.  Thanks to the magnificent love and support of family and friends, we've had a glorious summer.  I know that it will take me weeks if not months to gradually catch up and share our adventures, so in the meantime, let me post a few pictures from before our journey started.

In Lincoln, Nebraska with NomiAnn and Papa Kay:

Three cheers for the grand-favorites!

Talia catching apples at the Lincoln Children's Museum.

Now those are truly Lincoln logs!

Brooklyn, our very own prairie dog.

Talia and Eli make a splash.

Annika found a happy place of her very own.

Can you figure out who's who?

Baby prints.

Future astronauts.

At the OPPD Arboretum:

It's great to be eight.

Adorable Annabelle.

Catching up with Grandpa.

Still the craziest hair in the family.

Eli senjoys his stroller perch.

Whatcha smokin' Brooklyn?

Has anybody seen Talia?

Giddyap!
And last but not least, Talia with all her joie de vivre.
Coming up next: Travel Tales.  From runaway jet skis to tow trucks and fire trucks, they promise not to disappoint.

Nicely done Kara! I realize not only your discretionary time is limited, but so is your access to a fast internet connection. Keep smiling!
