Oh Baby

So I promise that I'll stop obsessing over Annika's hair, but after her bath this morning she looked like this:

Which totally reminded me of this.

The resemblance was so uncanny that I decided to dress up my live baby doll...

Like this. (Can you tell she didn't like it?)

Good night!

She is so cute! Definitely a combo of all the other kids. I think what you and Jason are doing is amazing! If you need a place to crash on your way out to New York this summer you are always welcome here for the night, or a few days, or even if you just need a place to stop and nurse, get lunch and let the kids run around on our play set. Just let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Funny! I did a similar comparison with Kamryn, who also had hair like Annika's only hers was black, and she looked just like a doll we had, too. I'll take the real dolls any day - with or without hair! They're all adorable!

Awesome! I think she could be a great lion with that mane. Or a lioness?

Thanks for the good laugh! Grandpa Charles thinks she may have inherited his cowlick--over her entire head :) She's so cute!

lOVE IT. IT really made me smile today. Thanks. You are amazing for being apart. That takes hard work and courage on both sides. You are welcome to come visit us in Kentucky if you want:)

It is a rare talent to be born with such awesome hair. I think you have a right to obsess about it until it starts looking like everyone else's in her age group :) I rather like clicking on your blog and seeing pictures of beautiful Annika and her long hair! (I always hope one of my kids would be born that way but so far they're just born with regular newborn hair, but I'm still grateful they have some.)

Doesn't matter how many times I've seen them--These pictures do a heart good on a cold evening in Minneapolis.
