A Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas snuck up on us so fast this year that we're a little late posting our holiday wishes. So instead of us wishing you a Merry Christmas, perhaps you can imagine us sending New Year greetings, from our heads to our toes.

Thanks to Jason's photoshop prowess, we transformed an alphabet photo shoot into our Christmas card. Second choice, however, was a family picture taken at Pioneer Park on Black Friday. It gives a feel for the St. George landscape, so I'm including it too, just for kicks and giggles.

And in case you are really bored, here is our Christmas letter. If postage weren't so pricey, I would have mailed a hard copy to everyone who occasionally reads this blog. Truly, your friendships brighten both our days and our computer time at night. So a belated merry Christmas and happy new year!

Received your terrific Merry Christmas "body art" after arriving home in Omaha last night. Your creativity and ongoing pursuit of goodness inspire and warm my heart. (And trust me ... after returning to Omaha from Sarasota ... I need a little warmth ... but only outside) Happy New Year!

Love the family photo on the red rocks! Still haven't got all my cards out, myself. Hoping to finish the rest of them today. Sometimes I wonder about doing them, and then I get such joy out of reading the annual letters others send me, I realize that in a very busy world, it's nice just to sit down and take a moment to make contact each year with people who really do mean something to us, even if we don't contact them daily.
