A.N.W.

Despite having ample time to ponder boy names, Jason and I are still having a hard time with the decision. One of the ideas that we have considered is selecting a name with the initials A.N.W., in honor of our love for root beer (although we do prefer IBCs over A&W). Fun initials would also mimic Brooklyn's speedy monogram, B.M.W.

And so, we are soliciting opinions: What's your favorite A_____ N_____ Wheeler name? A fabulous treat of some sort would likely come your way should we happen to fall in love with your suggestion! :)

I thought you were having girl. Okay boy, with an A. Hmm, I heard Angus the other day but then I thought, how mean, isn't that a cow?

I like the name Anson. Aaron is also good. My vote would be Anson Neil Wheeler! Good luck!

How about Anthony Neal? Or Alexander/Alex Nathan? Alex Nelson Wheeler?

I have a friend who has a son named Anton. But I prefer Ammon myself. As for N, maybe North or Niel? Grasping at straws- we had a hard enough time with our second- a third must be hard.

I was first thinking about Brooklyn's full name and thought about Andrus, but this is not really a boys name - so I thought Andrew, but then thinking of France - I thought about my friend André (but I don't know how you would pronounce André in English). And I was just reading in the July Ensign the story
"Daddy, do not leave me here" about a boy named Nathaniel.
So my suggestion for today is
André Nathaniel (Nate) W.

I have a cousin named André, pronounced just like the French.

You could go with my Grandpa's middle name of Arelian! jk
Then there's my great-great grandpa's middle name of August, or my other grandpa's first name of Albert! Boy, I'm so helpful!!!

I know I'm breaking from the A.N.W., but how about William Oliver Wheeler? That's a name that would truly W.O.W. Will Wheeler has a nice ring to it too.

Good luck making a choice. Boys names are super hard. Our poor son was 15 days old before we had it all figured out. :)

PS So fun that you and another dear friend of mine are cousins! Such a small world sometimes.

If Kristin can submit a different name - maybe I could also suggest names with different initials ... I still like Christopher Robin W. as the name for a boy whose mother is such a huge fan of Winni the Pooh (did I spell this right?) Winnie the Pooh (I looked it up).

I was actually going to suggest Anthony Neal before I even read Mrs. M's comment, but personally I think you should go with Charles Owen.

Did you ever consider Axle? How can you resist Axle Wheeler? Mom and I were talking about his name today and I thought of Axle, and mom told me you wanted something with an A. So, Axle could work that way, plus Axle... Wheeler... Haha :D
