Friends in France

Before leaving France, I thought it would be a good idea to get a little bit of video footage of Brooklyn speaking her new langue. This clip includes some very rough translations that don't really capture her emerging grammar. Still, it gives a general idea about how far she's come in her ability to express herself. Enjoy!

Terrific! Good work Brooklyn! (and Parents, who really made this happen). Listening is almost like being in France again. Thanks again. I made it back to Omaha late last night after a storm diversion to Wichita, KS but my two bags will not be delivered until this afternoon. Keep smiling!

Wow ... she is awesome!
She learned French so quickly and her hair did grow back so fast too. I remembered her having a bob-haircut last October. Time flies, but Brooklyn invested the time wisely in learning French :) Great and Wunderbarrrrrrr!!!

I love to hear Brooklyn talk about who her friends are (or are not). Evie talks the same way- "But they are not my friends. My only friend is Guinnie." And yet when I see her in her classroom, it seems like she interacts with everyone in pretty much the same way. What does it mean to be a "friend" when you are 3 or 4 years old?
