This post is all about Jason, but ironically enough, this post doesn't really have any pictures of Jason. Instead, this is a brief glimpse into what's been going on in Jason's life, as seen through the pics I find on his photo roll. Restate: this is a glimpse into the interesting stuff that's been going on in Jason's life. His photo roll is actually chock full of of random kitchens and some rather questionable toilets. Through his work at ASSIST, he is constantly in people's homes doing measure ups in order to make these spaces more accessible for those with disabilities. While totally cool, I figure you don't need to see all of that. Especially the toilets.
Youth Activities. Without a doubt, Jason's very favorite part of being a bishop is getting to interact with the youth and attend weekly youth activities. Here they are playing volleyball. It took a couple months, but his thumb has finally healed from this one.
Next up, Friendly Feud, as hosted by the stake. Since I have pathophysiology class every Wednesday night, Annika got to join the youth as a tagalong.
Jason's role as bishop may be busy, but work at ASSIST is busier still. Fortunately he's got great employees who both work hard and make the environment fun. Here they are enjoying dumplings for Chinese New Year.
In January Jason took a trip down to Page, Arizona because Zennihome may move production there. A large power plant recently closed, leaving giant warehouses empty, along with many skilled workers who could use employment.
An introduction to the reservation lands.
In St. George, the Switchpoint Daycare project is moving forward splendidly. It's going to be such an amazing asset to the community. With this project well underway, Jason is working on a new project with Switchpoint that will massively expand their existing soup kitchen. I love how Jason's work helps bring great design to a segment of society that is often underserved.
And the most attacked by it. Is that covered by workman's comp?
Jason understands Zizheng's fascination with winter. Ski season is without a doubt Jason's happiest season. Here's a selfie he took of the two of us after a fun morning skiing at Brighton. Jason may work hard, but given the chance he plays hard too. Ski pics coming soon!

You go Jason! You're a good husband, dad, bishop and human being ... all at the same time!
