Dovetailing off of yesterday's post about Young Women's, Jason and I never could have attended Youth Conference together were it not for the support of Grandma Susie and Grandpa Charles who watched Annika and Eli while we were gone. Judging from the photographs, Eli and Annie had a delightful time. Here they are flying kites.
They went to the movies to see Toy Story 4, then came home and their very own forky.
Well-done, Eli.
The rest of the cast.
They ate Aggie ice cream...
...and made crafts at the Stokes Nature Center. They even got to feed hummingbirds.
While not pictured here, I can pretty much guarantee they ate amazing food as well.
The last treat was a performance of The Little Mermaid at the Four Seasons Theatre company, a professional troupe that performs right at Skyline High. Jason, the big girls, and I got back just in time to join see the show. Directed by one of Jason's high school classmates, it was terrific. Annika even got meet the director, who acted the part of Ursula as well.
Hanging out with Flounder and King Triton.
Meeting the Little Mermaid and Prince Eric.
I'm so grateful for this special one-on-one time the kids get to enjoy with their grandparents. One thing is certain: they know they are loved.
Speaking of one-on-one time, later in the summer Talia got to spend a day in Logan with Aunt Christy and her grandparents. If I remember correctly, they hiked the White Pine trail.
Beautiful. Thanks so much to everyone for loving our children and blessing our family.
