I've found so many fun new interests lately! Running, swimming, baking--I'm even trying my hand at coupon clipping. A new choir, a new playgroup, a new book to read, a new blog to stalk--anything
but the same old housework. I'm beginning to think that my new found zeal is nothing but a thinly veiled guise to avoid the unenviable task of getting my house back in order.

Is ok, is ok. The urge to clean doesn't come until several weeks into March or even April. This is still the dead doldrums of winter, you know. And I think swimming and reading books are two of the best ways to fight back!
I have a quote from a BYU Women's conference that says "Pres. Benson called the women of the Church home not to clean toilet bowls and wash dishes in immaculate houses but to teach children the gospel of Christ." You do a wonderful job of teaching your children and giving them incredible experiences. As you fill your cup you then are refreshed and ready to fill theirs, also. Housework always will be there. Other things may not. You are doing an awesome job!
I am familar with that trick! :)
Although choosing other things that are more important that housework is not the same as procrastinating and wasting time to avoid housework.
And I agree with Mom L. Winter is brutal and we just do all we can to hang on!
