Brad and Jenny--Happy Anniversary

xThis past May Jason and I did a thing.  We went to a Brad Paisley concert!  For those of you who know him well, Jason LOVES country music.  And he loves Brad Paisley.  And much to my good fortune, after 22 years of marriage, he still loves me.  So to celebrate our anniversary, we drove up to Idaho Falls for the concert.  Jason even wore Annie's pink hat!

Backing up a little bit, first we got dinner at Smokin' Fins, right along the Snake River.  It was delicious with the very best company!

Back to Brad Paisley...

...the show was great!  It was the opening show for his "Truck Still Works" world tour.

Granted, the 6000 fans in the Mountain America Expo Center didn't quite match the 87,000 fans at Wembley Stadium for the Eras Tour, but we certainly had much closer seats.

That night we stayed in the Teton Valley Resort in Driggs, Idaho.  Super cute!

The next day we headed to Jenny Lake to hike.

10 delightful miles of trail!

These jagged peaks are remarkable.

Plus, we saw a baby moose!

For a portion of the trek, the trail got super slick and snowy!  I got plenty of practice with slipping and sliding, and yes, falling on my rump.  But hey!  Jason makes it look easy.  Glad I married this hunk.

Glad I married this hunk!

Friendly little marmot!

Jason, thanks for taking me on this adventure!  You know, being outdoors with you is my happiest place.  :)  But, hey Brad Paisley was a close second.

Because you can never have too many beautiful photos of nature, particularly when its Grand Teton National Park.

Happy anniversary amor!  Thanks for 22 years of adventure.  I love you, Peanut Butter!

Happy Anniversary you two! A large part of true love, is "what you've been through together." I'm impressed that you can enjoy a "country music" concert; I'd merely endure the twangy melodies and sappy, sad sagas. But, to each their own. "Keep Smiling!"
