After a lovely yet whirlwind vacation, we're finally home! It's taken a while for this new house to really feel like it belongs to us. While away, I scarcely missed it and wondered if I would have any regrets if I never saw it again. Last night, however, that feeling changed. Instead of walking into an old and foreign structure, the house felt cozy and familiar. In short, it felt great to come home at last.
It's going to take a few days to sort through all of the photos, so I won't spoil the surprise by telling you where we went. I will tell you, however, that we traveled by plane, limousine, aquabus, cruise ship, shuttle, tour boat, minivan, ship's tender, and motor coach--just not a train (although we came quite close.)
Instead, here's a funny conversational clip from earlier today.
(Dixie Chicks playing in the background.)
Brooklyn: Mom, is that a country song?
Me: Yes, it is.
Talia: It's good. I don't really like city music.
This kid sure keeps us laughing!

And just where is it that Talia (aka "RediWipp") is twirling in circles on a miniature merry-go-round?
Nuh uh uh!
I just about posted the answer and realized that it would give away our vacation location!
As a clue, this picture was taken while you were in Texas.
Love you!
Hahaha. Glad you made it home safe, and so glad that home has become HOME again. Looking forward to your photo posts about your mysterious vacation!
