Feburary 3rd was a pretty special day for our family. Our Talia Lily went through the Provo City Center Temple to receive her own
endowment.
But first, we needed to make sure we had proper sustenance, acquired at Tam's Cream Puffs.
The light was absolutely gorgeous as we arrived at the temple, marking a moment as special as our Talia.
This beautiful structure has a very special place in my heart, constructed from the ashes of the Provo Tabernacle after it was destroyed by fire.
Jason and his beautiful photography have an even more special place in my heart. When we married in the Logan Temple, we chose an evening ceremony in hopes of chasing similar light.
The temple is key to our faith as this is where families can be joined together for eternity. The culmination of the endowment ceremony is entering the celestial room, representative of heaven. It was so special to be there with so much family, including our Brooklyn. In the coming years, I hope we can gather there with all of our children. While Eli and Annika were not with us this time, we thought of them, particularly in the creation room where a mural painting of a wolf was staring right at me.
I adore this picture of Brooklyn. She loves the temple
so much. It seems so appropriate that she is beckoning others to follow.
Here's the beautiful village that came to support Talia. From left to right we have Jason, me, NomiAnn, Brooklyn, Talia, Grandma Susie, Grandpa Charles, Justin, Brianna, Christy, and Ben. Lily Asay and our neighbor Julie James were there as well, but left a little earlier. Papa Kay wanted to come but was unfortunately super sick with terrible stomach issues. We missed you Papa Kay.
Beautiful Talia, you shine from the inside out! We are so proud of your desire to draw closer to God by spending time with him in His house. It's an amazing house of learning, and the covenants you make there bring strength and hope in troubled times. Your kindness inspires us all. You are filled with so much love--I know you will be an extraordinary blessing to the people of Argentina as you serve there. We love you!
