Since Talia was training for a half marathon, she and I went for a nine mile run out at Point Ruston.
Running can get a bit monotonous, even with the Puget Sound as a backdrop, so we stopped at the park for a slide...
...and a spin.
When we got home, we found Daddy Jason hard at work redlining for Phoenix Services in Clearfield, Utah. These past months, he's designed and put together the plans for an assisted living facility for those with brain injuries.
As you can imagine, it's been a huge project requiring many late nights and early mornings. This is just one of dozens of design sheets he's put together. It makes my brain hurt just to think about it. Well-done, Peanut Butter.
Since the rest of us aren't very skilled in the production of construction documents, we went to Saltwater State Park instead. Callie and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon as the kids explored, without major incident (unusual for the two of us.)
Eila's queen of the driftwood.
Anders found the sandwiches.
Annika and Eila exploring together.
Yeah, this little guy's the cutest.
No further proof needed.
As the perfect ending to a great day, we headed to Din Tai Fung to get dumplings for dinner.
As Sparky can attest, watching them make the dumplings is truly a work of art.
Qǐng màn yòn. (According to google, that means Bon Appetit in Chinese.)
Tasty for all ages.
Enjoy our meal we did.
Last but not least, a few pictures from around the Wilhoit house. Both inside...
And out.
Callie and Adam, while entertaining, it's not easy wrangling itty bitties.
Just know that we think the world of your family and know that you are doing an amazing job.
We love you! Thanks for making us feel ever so welcome in Washington.
